This project was all about merging cutting-edge technology with the power of storytelling—a synergy that perfectly reflects the HMD brand. From an exclusive NYCC event to the star-studded red carpet premiere, this launch has been a career highlight like no other.

Unveiling the HMD Fusion Venom Outfit: A First-of-Its-Kind Innovation

At the core of this collaboration is the HMD Fusion Venom Outfit—a limited-edition, wearable tech experience that redefines how we interact with our devices. Much like Venom transforms Eddie Brock, this Fusion Outfit transforms the phone into a collector’s dream:

  • Custom Sounds: The device features Venom’s iconic voice, from the “We Are Venom” welcome sound to a “We Are Screwed” ringtone and even a voicemail greeting from the symbiote himself.
  • One-of-a-Kind Design: Only three units were ever created, making this one of the most exclusive smartphone accessories ever produced.
  • Smart Symbiosis: HMD Fusion’s interchangeable outfits allow users to change both the phone’s aesthetic and functionality, creating a blend of tech and storytelling unlike anything seen before.

To bring this campaign to life, we worked with an incredible creative production team in Brooklyn, elevating the visual storytelling to cinematic levels. The content was crafted with robotic cameras for dynamic shots, capturing the intensity and edge of the Venom universe.

We collaborated with a renowned nail artist to create Venom-inspired nail art, integrating elements of pop culture, fashion, and design into our content. These small but impactful creative choices helped shape one of the most visually exciting projects I’ve ever led.

And, of course, no true NYC experience is complete without a classic chopped cheese sandwich—a small but memorable moment that made this production even more special.

Being at NYCC, surrounded by fans, creators, and industry leaders, was an unforgettable experience. We hosted a private event to unveil the HMD Fusion Venom Outfit, giving attendees an exclusive first look at this groundbreaking collaboration.
